Screenprinting
Semester 2: Image Making
This art was made using historic image making techniques, such as cyanotypes (1842), screenprinting (1911) and linocutting (circa 1890).
Cyberthug Remake
Semester 2: Applied Media
This was something I decided to do as supplementary material. It's an attempt to recreate the Cyberthug in Blender and Maya. I didn't end up finishing it, but it's a start in learning character modelling.
Physical Artefact
Semester 2: Applied Media
This is the artificial intelligence that governs the Cyberthug civilisation. Only those it deems worthy enough are able to access its chamber and advise it on how to improve things.
This paper required making animations that were a combination of a theme chosen by the student and themes provided weekly by the tutor. I chose "calm" as my overall theme.
Sci-Fi Character
Semester 1: Applied Media
This was a half-year project that involved creating a fictional species set in the future. The model shown above is a member of the Cyberthug race - humans that required artificial components to survive when the Earth's environment became toxic.
This short video was a compilation of various image making skills and visual techniques learnt throughout the paper. The focus was using them strategically to tell a narrative about your interests or life story.
Photocollage
Semester 1: Image Making
This was a fun one. It was about combining your interests/life story into a single image. The Zelda triforce and Mount Kaukau feature here because that's some of the stuff.
